The 68th L’Oréal Colour Trophy Awards aimed to elevate its reputation as the premier live hairdressing competition in the UK and Ireland, with a focus on delivering a prestigious, flawless, and digitally innovative event. Held across two locations, Dublin and London, the challenge was to seamlessly blend physical and digital experiences.
The event’s brand identity, “Find Form,” guided the design. The main stage featured a circular projection-mapped drum, a long runway, and a 30-foot AV screen. Highlights included a dramatic Kabuki drop moment and interactive installations like a neon photo cube, color wall, and VIP lounge.
To enhance the digital experience, a “Form Finder” website was developed for guests to create marketing assets, alongside an Instagram AR filter showcasing L’Oréal products over London landmarks. The in-house team handled all design and production, making the event a success, as noted by L’Oréal’s General Manager, who praised the innovative execution.
